"The people and classes at the Digital Media Center for the Arts provided me with everything I needed to complete projects for school and extra curricular activities. In addition, through the increased awareness of technology I gained there, entirely new projects occurred to me. It seemed like a Cinderella story when I came in at the beginning of my sophmore year asking how I might record a chamber group for a film score, and was immediately trained to use recording equipment and sent home with two state of the art microphones and a CD recorder. By my senior year I was directed toward new programs the DMCA had acquired that would specifically suit my needs, and given ample instruction and play time with them. Having had the advantage of a place like the DMCA, I now feel confident when approaching new audio and visual technology, and excited about the art they can create."
